Constructed with eight layers for durability and weatherproofing and with a U-value of 0.17, CosyRoof sunroom’s performance vastly exceeds glass or polycarbonate roofs.

8 layer construction

The lightweight tiling system is made up of eight layers for durability and weatherproofing.

300mm Rockwool insulation

As well as 300mm Rockwool the fully installed ceiling consists of 75mm of insulation between the rafters keeping your CosyRoof cosy all year round.

12.5mm thick plasterboard

Plasterboard is lightweight and provides additional thermal efficiency.

3mm bonding

The ceiling is secured with 3mm bonding.

3mm plaster

Your ceiling is plastered with a smooth finish ready for painting.

Do I need planning permission?

You will not require planning permission to replace the roof of your conservatory, however building control regulations are recommended.

You may want to obtain the building regulations yourself or CosyRoof can obtain them for you. We can also provide building regulations at a discounted price. Does a CosyRoof conversion have a guarantee?

Every new conservatory roof installed by Cosyroof comes with a 10 year insurance backed guarantee from Quality Assured National Warranties and the solid roof tiles used have their own 40 year guarantee.

How long does it take?

A solid conservatory roof installation from CosyRoof will take between 1-3 days from old roof removal to internal plaster finish. If the conservatory is particularly large it may take up to 5 days to complete.
